My name is Louise van den Heuvel, a photographer who explores the space between fashion photography and fine art. My work comes from a sensitive and imaginative point of view. I pick up on the world around me with great awareness, strongly feel the atmosphere, and turn that into visual stories. My images are carefully built, with close attention to detail.

By growing up in a creative, graphic family, I developed myself as an image maker at an early age. Love, time and freedom have made me choose photography with full conviction. I work with my heart and soul on my projects and with a great interest in people, it’s my goal to combine story and feeling through my fashion series.

To me, fashion photography is about much more than just showing clothing. It’s about time, how we feel, what happens around us, and how we see the world.

I explore the limits of fashion photography by creating images that invite people to pause, think, and connect with their own emotions and views on the subject.
